All Out 04:23
This is the first time that the canvas has seen the light And there is no paint cause there was nothing inside Years of living like you knew what was right Has brought you here upon your knees and in their sights Is this the last time that the canvas will see light At the first ray of the sun did paint go dry Broken brushes lies believed become your eyes No will to lead so do what they say it’s all all right… And you’re all out of excuses I’m almost over you Underexposed and contrived Is this the picture that you’ll paint until you die Now that you seen what you have drawn And the life that you have known you might move on This is the first time that the canvas has seen the light hope the colors that you need are what you find with steady hands you’ll make your strokes align before the amber of this moment has no why

Seashores 04:31
You’ll be always Like seashores kissed by the sea The Moon rises On constants that carry me Time is distance Between home foreign ports You’ll stay fire Burning on the seashore Sailing seasons As waves push forward back Youth they reason Like string for broken mast But I’ve carried timber And instruments of fire… To burn heaven And hell with this desire… I’m going to wait for you to the end. Will we be always like the salt… in the sea…

Iron 03:28
Iron sharpens iron in due time We are now razor sharp Cause all our saviors have all gone to sleep And left us here to hang Black and white turned grey to blind No sheep or shepherds lions lie in wait For all the children in their beds… When all is light how will we find What truly shimmers truly shines Now all our eyes have been turned to glass… At the trumpets sound… The fire will rain down… More than settling the score… Like floods that came before… Now only fools and babes will remember Iron sharpens iron in due time We are now razor sharp Cause all our shepherds have all gone astray And left us here alone These Jericho walls slowly build All walls are made but built to spill What never needs an excuse or a pass… Extend their timeline and they’ll see All things end eventually Thank God for all the sweet remedies… At the trumpets sound… The fire will rain down… More than settling the score… Like floods that came before… Now only fools and babes will be delivered...

Backroads 04:02
Will I always feel Like on the bus The last child and all alone? Must ever I resist? These urges inside burning like the lights on Cheshire bridge But I feel you… and I see you still… And I need you… And I breathe you still… Still I try to find My way through DNA And the road amongst the thorns… And then I catch a glimpse of Your light and the life I’ve always known and I am home But I’ll feel you… and I’ll see you still… And I’ll need you… And I’ll be you still… I’ll remember who you are. Cause you can’t stay on the back roads forever. You can’t spend all your life wandering/wondering. One day I will know What was sown but didn’t grow One day I will sleep Knowing what will be will be And one day I will find That the roads were just a sign Leading me the way In mercy and grace

Two Waves 04:34
Feel the fire burn inside Another whiskey driving night You’re the key that unlocks every door So much I’ve found in you But every sin was 80 proof And I don’t know how long I can tow this line… Like counting pennies and hoping for enough to buy All the choices in our lives There are two waves crashing in Hoping both to survive Like myself against my own life… Oh how long will I shoulder Words that got me laid Everyone is a danger in the night… But we’re not getting any younger And though you age so well I don’t know how long I can tow this line… Like counting pennies and hoping for enough to buy All the choices in my life There are two waves crashing in Hoping both to survive Like myself against my own life… Every time I… go my own way… And feeling the same thing… day after day… Still every time I… go my own way… I fall down where I stand And I cannot defend All the choices the consequences in my life… I am a man… oh the rebellious one… Two waves for every love I am a man… forgive me for what I’ve done… Can’t live without You and Your love… All the times that I fell… And I could not tell that I was wrong… Still everyone time that I fall You pick me up from where I crawl To walk with You by Your side…

Evelyn 04:58
Oh Evelyn Black and white But I can still see… The red upon your lips… Oh Evelyn One stocking still left on But I can’t tell what’s Clutched in your hand Still over your heart Laid out like Ophelia Speeding past floors Crashing into limousine White gloves… without the stain. Oh Evelyn Dressed in Sunday’s best Sleeping still a picture immaculate Oh Evelyn Parallel to the sky White wings a soft caress stopped in their tracks laid out on your back And all with bated breath A resurrection they expect And see the angel… awake… And see the angel… awake… awake…

Carrying On 05:33
The hardest one to To forgive is you and try as you might to move along… the days still taunt you and remind you of the years past and what you’ve done and loved… Like father’s words when When He approaches With your baby in your arms Both your eyes open And your arms raised To the Sky which you belong And where you will fly… and you’re carrying on… carrying on… carrying on… it won’t be too long… As these fears burn you because they surround you still you stand upon your ground... And when all else fails and falls around you when all is lost still you are found... But hardest one to To forgive is you and try as you might to move along… With your eyes open And your arms raised To the Sky where you belong And where you will fly… Though you were raised by a mother who spoke with her hands To your face Against all the odds you chose to be another What was guaranteed has now been changed I hope that someday I can repay… All the sacrifices that you’ve made… And all my love you’ll take with you to the grave… Cause in your hands I am just the clay…
